MORE Enterprises, LLC was created in June 2010 to manufacture, sell, and distribute a used tampon and pad disposal bag -- PonPax. Initially created for those on septic systems who could not flush feminine hygiene products, its distribution has grown to the hotel and restaurant industries, as well as small and large businesses.
Women's public restrooms cannot only get dirty and disgusting with used tampons and pads overflowing from receptacles, but pose a health issue to all who use and clean the stalls. PonPax protects the health of women, children, and custodial workers in public restrooms.
In addition, companies spend thousands of dollars in plumbing repairs when tampons swell and clog pipes. The overflowing of water in the restrooms can pose a falling hazard as well as ruining walls and surrounding floors. All these expenses can be avoided with PonPax.
There is no other product currently available that is biodegradable, recyclable, made by US companies, and employs handicapped workers in Sheltered Workshops, thus protecting the environment while helping the economy.
